After a short hiatus for the holidays, we are back with a bang! Congrats to Ed H for his first place finish at Event 3, No Limit Hold'em. Ed bested a full house in the final round of the tourney, and collected 5 hits on the evening. Bobby D, who held a solid chip lead for most of the evening, took the second spot also netting 5 hits. Joseph W took third place while collecting 1 hit. Carter R rounded out the top four, collecting 4 hits along with a high hand of quad aces. Last tourney's first place bounty on James R was collected by Carrie G. Great time with some old friends returning, too! Event results and final season standings are now online.

Congrats James R for his first place finish this past Saturday night at Event 2, Razz. James bested the field of 18 in round 20 while collecting 8 hits on the evening. Ed H finished a solid second place with 3 hits. Third place was collected by Brian W with 2 hits, and Art A rounded out the top 4, also with 2 hits. Our first place bounty was carried by Event 1's second place finisher, Matt T, and was collected by Bobby D. No high hand was awarded in this tournament. A nice showing for a very non-traditional game! Event results and final season standings are now online.

Congrats to Richard H for his first place finish this past Saturday night at Event 1, No Limit Hold'em. Rich bested the field of 24 in round 20 while collecting 2 hits on the evening. Second place was claimed by Matt T, who had 6 hits on the night. Syd S claimed the third spot of the evening with 3 hits along with the bounty on Season 9 champion Allen P. Bryan M rounded up the top 4 with 3 hits along with high hand, aces full of queens. Noi L also held aces full and collects the high hand bonus as well. What a great start to Season 10! Event 1 began with a capped field, as we are looking forward to our biggest and best season yet! Event results and final season standings are now online.

Congrats To Allen P, Season 9 Champion - Season 10 Starts December 3

Congratulations to Allen P for winning the Season 9 Championship on November 12. Allen started the tournament in 6th place with 64,800 in chips, and collected all the chips in round 18. Brian W finished in a solid second place, with Bobby D in third and Ed H in 4th. Our "first out" was Joe W, who collected a special prize as well. Full tourney results are now online.

We had a great time in Season 9! For those who came regularly, to those who only made a few games, to those of you who have yet to come out - we are looking forward to seeing you in Season 10! The new season is scheduled to start on December 3, and we will open the season with no limit hold'em. If you or anyone you know would like to get registered for the new season, do so now!

Congratulations to Bobby D for qualifying this past Saturday night at the Season 9 Wild Card qualifier. Bobby stood tall over the field of 8 to earn the final seat at the Championship Final Table. With the conclusion of the Wild Card Event, Dark City's own "November 9" are ready to roll!

The Season 9 Championship will be Saturday, November 12, at a special start time of 6PM. The top 4 finishers will be paid (50/25/15/10). First place will pay $645, a trophy and the Championship bracelet, second place will earn $315 and a trophy, third place will take $190 and a trophy, and fourth place will leave with $125. Here are your 9 participants for the Championship Main Event:
