Welcome To Dark City Poker League - Shreveport, LA
Welcome to the Dark City Poker League in Shreveport / Bossier City, Louisiana. Our mission is to draw in quality poker players to gather and enjoy the game of poker. The Dark City Poker League is a home based poker League and was formed to add a new twist to our weekly poker games, including Stud, Omaha, HORSE, and the granddaddy of all card games, No Limit Texas Hold'em. Everyone is encouraged and welcome to join the League.
The purpose of the Dark City Poker League is to establish a season of regular season poker games with the grand prize being the Season Championship Main Event. Points shall be awarded during each regular season game. Points shall accumulate during the course of the season, which in turn will convert over to chips at the final table. The final table shall consist of the top 8 points leaders plus one wild card player which will be determined in a wild card game. Event 2 Results From January 23 - Event 3 Location
January 14, 2010
Congratulations to Heather for her first place finish at Event 2, Limit Omaha. Heather not only stood tall collecting the top spot, but also collected the table bounty on Brad. Allen finished a strong second, with Greg claiming the third place spot. Our first place bounty on Joseph was netted by Sydney, and Brad made a strong showing with quad aces for the high hand of the evening. Full event results and season standings are now online.
Event 2, limit Omaha, is scheduled for February 6 at 7:30PM and will be at Brad's house. As always, pre-registration is highly encouraged. |

Event 1 Results From January 9 - Event 2 Location
January 14, 2010
Congratulations to Joseph for his first place finish in the opening tourney of Season 7. Joseph took the win in round 18. Jay S finished in second, with Ed collecting the third place spot. Ed also collected the first bounty on newcomer Anthony, and David L claimed the second bounty on Angela. Anthony also earned high hand of the night with aces full of eights. Nice job, everyone! Full event results and season standings are now online.

Congrats To Allen, Season 6 Champion - Season 7 Starts This Saturday
January 4, 2010
Congratulations to Allen for winning the Season 6 Championship on December 12. Allen collected the top prize in round 19 of the tournament. Matt took second place, with Ed collecting third place. Our first out award went to Joseph. In addition, the league raised over 60 non-peridhible food items that were donated to the Northwest Louisiana Food Bank just in time for the holidays. Great job, everyone!
Season 7 starts this Saturday, January 9 at 7:30PM. The game will be no limit hold'em and we will be playing at Greg and Sydney's house. Please reserve your spot. Also, if you would be interested in hosting an upcoming game, please let Greg know. See you back at the tables! |

Wild Card Qualifier Results From November 28 - Season 6 Championship Info - Season 7 Survey

Congrats to Matt for winning the Wild Card Qualifier this past Saturday night. Ending a very impressive heads-up match, Matt took the win in round 11. Matt will receive 50 bonus points toward his current standings, as well as the 9th seat in the Season 6 Championship on December 14. Here are your "December Nine":
